It was the name for a future bicycle, slash fly fishing shop I told myself I’d open someday. This was during the time in mountain biking culture, early 90s, when there was this push to make a lot of new, expensive, aftermarket parts out of titanium. Titanium was the new miracle metal that was lightweight, flexible yet strong, and extremely expensive. I thought with me coming from the city of Pittsburgh the name of the shop could be “The Iron Spoke” as it had a nice ironic tone.
I spent the first 15 years of my professional career in banking. In 2008 I transitioned to the commercial construction industry and have been there ever since.

I believe that details matter, but I also recognize that not every detail is equally important to every party involved with the project. I believe in gaining perspective from all parties affiliated with a project and will communicate these needs and requests to the other decision makers with the goal of delivering a project on time and budget.
